About to turn 10 years old, the Triton Series announced the venue for its next stop. Between May 13 and 28, the main poker stars will gather in Budva, Montenegro, a city that already hosted the circuit’s first tournament held outside of Asia.
“Montenegro is where the Triton story began. This May we return to raise the standard once again,” declared CEO Andy Wong.
The Triton Montenegro schedule will feature 16 tournaments, with buy-ins starting at US$25,000 and reaching US$200,000, the amount required to participate in the traditional Invitational, the event reserved for businessmen.

On its social media, Triton has already begun to reveal the names of the recreational players invited to be part of the field. Each of them must choose a recognized professional to compete in pairs. On Day 1, the room is divided into two sectors: one for businessmen and another for regular high-stakes players.
