The CLSOP Poker Series Puerto Plata 2026 is already starting to build excitement and preparing its arrival in Dominican Republic
The festival will take place between August 28 and September 6 at the Casino Coral Reef, located in Sosúa, Puerto Plata. There will be ten days of competition with events for different levels and budgets, although the main tournament will naturally be the big attraction.
The NLH Main Event will have a buy-in of US$900 and will offer different starting flights to seek qualification. Day 1A will be played on September 1, followed by Day 1B on the 2nd and Day 1C on the 3rd. On that same day, a Turbo flight will be played, while on September 4 the Day 1E Turbo Discount will arrive.
The survivors will later return to play Day 2 and the battle for the title will be resolved on September 5, when the champion and main winner of the guaranteed prize pool will be known.

Poker and vacations
But the CLSOP proposal goes far beyond the tables. The organization prepared accommodation alternatives for those who want to turn the tournament into a true poker vacation.
Among them are Casa Marina Beach & Reef, a complex located by the sea and a few minutes from the casino, and Croma Sosúa Beach, whose main advantage will be its proximity to the venue.
From the APP to the tables
Additionally, the series launched app.clsop.com, a platform from which players can check the schedule, access lodging information, promotions, and register directly from their phone.
Thus, Puerto Plata is preparing to welcome players from all over Latin America with a formula that is hard to ignore: US$100,000 guaranteed, ten days of poker, and the Caribbean as a backdrop. A first edition that will seek to immediately place Sosúa on the regional map.
