After a week of hard competition, the final table of the Main Event of the CEP Barcelona has finally been set. The event broke all entry records registered so far in the Spanish Poker Championship to become the largest tournament in the history of the circuit. Of the thousands of players who started the event, only 9 remain in the race for the title and only one will take home the trophy.
The event had 2,205 entries, the highest number ever recorded in CEP history. This generated a prize pool of approximately €992,250, to be distributed among the 247 paid places in the tournament. On Day 2, the money bubble burst and we saw a large number of players leave with a payout in hand.
Day 3 began with 60 players in the race and Adriá Díaz
