Brown kept winning pots and the lead extended to as much as 20 to 1, holding 94% of the chips in play

Jeremy Brown appeared very confident and almost arrogant with his lead. No one imagined what would happen next. Busquet began a streak of double-ups that brought him closer and closer to his rival’s stack. After a run of doubles, Busquet took the lead again, while his opponent couldn’t quite understand what was happening.

Finally, Olivier Busquet managed to maintain his lead, unlike his opponent, who suffered a spectacular collapse. Busquet went on to win the title and take home the US$925,514 prize, achieving the biggest comeback in WPT history.
