For several years now, Bryn Kenney 
In a recent conversation with American media, Kenney said, “Poker is like an art to me. I see myself as an artist, but with two cards, or maybe it’s a symphony I’m creating, but it turns out I do it with two cards.”
“The way I play and think about poker, I feel it allows me to express my creativity, which is really fun. Where many people get stuck on one path or another about how you’re supposed to play, I play a different game that thinks outside the box,” Kenney continued.

Before becoming a professional poker player, Bryn Kenney had been a world champion of the game Magic: The Gathering, a strategy game with which many poker players share a past. Perhaps some of the skills learned in those championships allowed him to develop such an effective strategy at the poker tables.

Over time, poker allowed him to find a place where he can be himself and make money at the same time.
“When I was in high school, I felt different from most people. I thought differently. Most people settle for the system life presents them. I feel poker is the opposite of that. It’s for people who don’t want that route. I had trouble relating to people in high school, but in the poker community I feel at home. It feels good to be like a normal person in this environment,” Kenney emphasized.
“On the other hand, the poker community is different. There are many people on the spectrum, I see many super autistic or somewhat autistic geniuses. Maybe ‘neurodivergent’ is the best word. Winners in poker have high levels of this. They think outside the box, they are geniuses at problem-solving. You can relate to these people and have a great time at the table,” Bryn reflected.
