After two days of intense competition, we have finally met the new champion of the Triton Poker Series Main Event being held in the city of Jeju . Several of the best players in the world gathered to carry out what was a special tournament, which distributed more than fifteen million in prizes and ended up crowning Ben Tollerene as the winner.
The tournament had a total of 178 entries, which formed a prize pool of US$17,800,000 that was distributed among the best 31 places in the tournament. Among these prize-winning positions, there were some renowned Latin American players, such as Nacho Barbero (30th), Pedro Padilha (28th), Gabriel Costa (16th) and Felipe Ketzer , who contributed his share of Latin presence at the final table and ended up leaving in 9th place, for a prize of US$385,000.

The 3-handed play was decided between Ben Tollerene, Philip Sternheimer and Elton Tsang . The first of the three to fall was the Asian player, who received US$1,787,000 for finishing in 3rd place. In the heads-up, Sternheimer tried to snatch the victory from Tollerene, but ended up as runner-up, with a prize of US$2,535,000. In this way, Ben Tollerene was crowned champion of the Triton Poker Series Main Event and took home a prize of US$3,766,000.
