The final table was pure excitement, although it started quite the opposite. In fact, the first two eliminations took two and a half hours to happen, while it took another three and a half hours to finally know the champion.

When they were 3-handed, Rotondo made a key move by eliminating Costa. Rotondo opened to 300,000 chips from the button and the Brazilian pushed all his chips from the small blind. The call was immediate.

The board K 10 5 7 3 tipped the scale for the Argentine, who connected top pair and set up the final heads-up.

The decisive duel began with Rotondo leading with 2,990,000 chips against Abdala’s 2,170,000. And the outcome came in an explosive hand, with no room for intermediate maneuvers: all chips ended up in the center.
Cristian showed A K, while Abdala revealed 9 9. The final board was 5 4 3 J Q, completing the incredible runner-runner flush for Rotondo and sealing the Super High Roller title.
With this victory, Cristian Rotondo added one of the most prestigious titles of the series to his record in a tournament that gathered several of the best players in the region.
