Daniel Negreanu struggles to beat his personal record on the golf course

Canada
has adopted golf as one of his main hobbies. He has even compared it to poker, referring to both as “an endless quest for perfection that never ends.” This year, the Canadian has been playing quite often and recently made a post referring to his numbers.

I had a fun round of golf. I completed the goal of making a birdie on every hole at Southshore in 2026 and finally got the last hole today, #7. The great summer is still great!”

However, he recently revealed that his numbers have not been going so well.

“My handicap will be a little lower after another 80 holes. It was around 4 with 3 to play, but one of the hardest things to do in golf is to beat your personal record. Mine is 77, and I was chasing it, damn it!” Daniel wrote on August 19.

We will probably continue to have updates on Daniel’s game in the future, unless he does so badly that he does not want to share it. Anyway, sooner or later, the Canadian will return to the courses, especially while he is somewhat away from the tables.
