What will be experienced at the WSOP Montevideo from May 18 to 25 will be a week that promises high-voltage action, with figures from all over Latin America and the unmistakable shine of the 12 official WSOP Circuit rings. And the schedule has been revealed.
It’s not just another festival. The arrival of poker’s most powerful brand in the heart of the Uruguayan capital represents a giant step for the local and South American scene. Each champion, in addition to lifting one of the coveted gold rings, will earn their entry to the exclusive Tournament of Champions, where winners from the entire global circuit season gather.
Now, with the calendar already on the table, the event is starting to take shape as a blockbuster. The schedule will open on Monday, May 18, with the first flights of the Mini Main Event, a US$500 tournament that will have four starting days and a final on Wednesday the 20th, shaping up to be one of the most attractive options for those seeking volume, a large field, and a significant prize without having to fire at the main event buy-in.

That same start will be exciting with the One Day High Roller for US$2.000 and a Turbo KO for US$300 to close the day with chips flying.
The festival will continue to raise the temperature with events like the 2-Day High Roller for US$3.000, the Mystery Bounty for US$600, an always tempting Freezeout Deepstack for US$800 and offerings with their own flavor like the Win The Button Turbo KO, ideal for those who enjoy dynamic structures and more aggressive formats.
But of course, all eyes will be on the main course: the US$1.700 Main Event, which will begin on Thursday, May 21, with multiple starting flights and culminate on Sunday the 24th. It will be the tournament that seeks to crown the first great champion of the WSOP Circuit Montevideo, in a luxury setting and with the symbolic weight of opening a new page in the history of the circuit in the region.
The final stretch of the festival will also be loaded with dynamite: the $1.500 Single Day KO, the Ring 500, the $800 Single Day NLH, the Second Chance for US$600, the Super High Roller for US$5.000 and even a Pot-Limit Omaha Dealer’s Choice tournament that adds variety to a very complete schedule. As a finishing touch, Sunday will also bring the Closer, the Last Chance High Roller for US$2.000 and a US$300 Turbo for those who want to squeeze out every last chip of the trip.
