Argentine poker adds a different proposal in April with the arrival of the Mendoza High Roller Championship, an event designed for demanding players looking for strong competition and comfort in one package. The event will take place from April 9 to 12 at the Casino Cóndor, located inside the Hilton Mendoza
With a US$3.000 buy-in and an estimated prize pool of around US$300.000, the tournament aims to position itself as one of the most select stops on the local calendar. But it’s not just about the level at the tables: one of the great differentiators will be that Main Event players will have accommodation included throughout the series at the same hotel where the action takes place.
This detail, unusual on the Argentine circuit, elevates the experience and facilitates logistics for participants, bringing the event closer to standards more typical of international tournaments.
Mendoza High Roller Championship: a format designed for deep play
The main tournament will offer ideal conditions for developing strategy: each player will start with 100.000 chips and there will be the possibility of reentry for US$2.000 until Level 20. Additionally, the field will be limited to only 70 players, ensuring a competitive, exclusive environment with a high level at every table.
The structure is designed to favor complex decisions and long gaming sessions, something that is usually highly valued by high roller circuit regulars.

Poker and destination: an attractive combination
While Mendoza is not usually a regular host for major tournaments, its surroundings play in its favor. The province is one of the country’s most prominent destinations, with landscapes dominated by the Andes Mountains, internationally recognized wineries, and a top-tier gastronomic offer.
In this context, the Mendoza High Roller Championship seeks to establish itself as a different option within the calendar, combining high-level poker with a comprehensive experience off the tables.
