The return of Neymar Jr.
The confirmation of his call-up by coach Carlo Ancelotti

Even Neymar Wanted to Immortalize the Moment with Our Star Kika and Did Not Hesitate to Ask for a Photo.
Neymar Jr. celebrated his long-awaited return to the Brazil national team alongside his friend and influencer Cris Guedes

But Neymar’s connection with poker goes far beyond advertising campaigns. The Brazilian has been a regular follower and player of high-level tournaments for years, especially linked to the World Series of Poker. On several occasions, he has participated in World events in Las Vegas. So far, he has cashed only once in the 2022 edition in Event #41 US$1,000 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold’em (freezeout) where he finished 49th out of 2,227 and took home US$3,959.
In 2024, he played an Invitational Satellite that bore his name, along with several of his poker friends. The WSOP organization wanted to welcome him in the best way and organized an exclusive event for Ney and his friends, who filled the Horseshoe room with poker and joy.

The event in question was a three-table satellite tournament, awarding 3 tickets to the Main Event. The tournament featured other big stars, such as Rafael Moraes

While Brazil dreams of lifting the sixth star at the 2026 World Cup, Brazilian poker also celebrates having its most media figure back in the spotlight. Because when NJ appears, the show never fails… whether with a ball at his feet or chips in front of him.
And although the World Cup is the absolute priority today, in the middle of the World Series of Poker calendar, no one rules out Neymar finding a small window to escape to Las Vegas and be seen again among cards, chips, flashes, and surely, controversies.
