The action started quite evenly, as almost an hour passed before we saw the first elimination from the table: Patrick Brooks. The Brit crashed into Anatski’s kings to finish in 9th place. Minutes later, Kirichenko suffered a bad beat and was eliminated by Anatski himself, who continued to grow his large stack.

Then Malinowski was eliminated after losing with A K against Andersson’s J J. Finally, after having tormented the table throughout the day, Ilya Anatski was eliminated at the hands of Pedro Neves. In this way, the Portuguese took the chip lead.
