To kick off a new week full of poker, Day 1C of the Venom MB and Venom MB PLO tournaments was played at ACR Poker. The Mystery Bounty version of their flagship tournament, which has US$8M GTD in its NLH version and US$2M GTD in its PLO version, has already registered hundreds of entries and has more and more players advancing to Day 2. There are still two more starting flights to participate.

In this third starting day, we continued to see a good number of entries that further increased the field size in both tournaments.
In the Venom MB, a total of 841 new entries were registered, and after an intense day of competition, only 101 players managed to qualify for Day 2. On the other hand, 193 entries were registered in the Venom MB PLO version, of which only 24 players managed to advance.
But this is not the end. Those who were eliminated or those who want to continue growing their stacks before Day 2 will have two more opportunities to participate.

How the first Venom of 2026 continues
For a buy-in of US$2,650, players not only get the chance to compete for the large guaranteed prizes, but there are also huge bounties available for those who eliminate their rivals.

In the Venom MB NLH, taking out a rival at the right stage can award a bounty of up to US$500,000. In the Venom MB PLO, there is a bounty of US$200,000 waiting to be unlocked. But that’s not all. Any elimination in both tournaments represents a bounty of at least US$5,000.
Both Venom tournaments have five starting flights. Additionally, players have the option to play in multiple flights and then combine their stacks for Day 2, arriving with many more chips to eliminate rivals.
Players who manage to qualify for Day 2 will be automatically in the prizes. And those who reach the final table will have to battle on February 3rd for the Venom title and the grand prize, reserved for the champion.
