The Spanish Poker Championship is ready to make history.
The Spanish Poker Championship by PokerStars has begun the countdown to the start of one of the most special seasons in its history: its 20th anniversary. An emblematic edition for the longest-running Spanish poker circuit, which is already working to make it an event worthy of its two decades of history.
The challenge will not be easy, as the CEP is coming off a historic 2025 season in which it broke participation records in its five stages, nearing 5,000 registrations in total Main Events and exceeding 2,000 entries in the overall Mini CEPs held.
As usual, the longest-running Spanish poker circuit will kick off the new season at Casino Barcelona. The casino in the Catalan capital has established itself as the festival’s star venue, hosting the most crowded Main Event in CEP history, held in August last year with a total of 2,182 entries. In this regard, the schedule for CEP Barcelona 2026 will be announced in the coming days.
The big new addition to the 2026 calendar will be the return of CEP Murcia, which will be held from April 8 to 12 at Orenes Gran Casino Murcia, after its last appearance in 2022.

Online and live satellites now active
As usual, the longest-running Spanish poker circuit offers the opportunity to qualify for its Main Event through online satellites, which are being held from Monday to Sunday on PokerStars.
In addition, to celebrate the circuit’s 20th anniversary, various live satellites have also been scheduled at Casino Barcelona on February 6, 26, and 27, with 2 guaranteed ME tickets per day, and at Orenes Gran Casino Murcia on February 8 and 15, with 4 guaranteed ME tickets per day.
