The wait is over. This Wednesday the cards will fly again at the Ovalle Casino & Resort and the OSOP Prime officially begins, one of the most anticipated events of the Chilean poker season. The excitement is already in the air and everything is ready for a week that promises lots of action. As is tradition in the most important events in the country, CodigoPoker will be present providing live coverage of the Main Event through its Liveblog.
A calendar full of action
The main jewel of the festival will be the Prime Main Event, a tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of CL$70,000,000 and a buy-in of CL$500,000. The event will have three starting flights: Day 1A on Thursday, June 4, Day 1B on Friday, June 5, and a Day 1C Turbo on the same Friday night, leaving the final for Saturday, June 6 from 14:30 hours.
The Main Event will provide stacks of 30,000 chips, levels of 30 and 40 minutes, and allow re-entry for CL$350,000, a structure aimed at both professional and recreational players who want to experience a great tournament in Chile.

But the action doesn’t end there. The festival will also include a powerful High Roller with CL$35,000,000 guaranteed and a buy-in of CL$1,000,000, designed for the highest stakes players in the national circuit. This tournament will be played between June 6 and 7 and will provide 150,000 starting chips.

The schedule also includes two Single Day events: the Welcome Prime with CL$4,000,000 guaranteed, ideal to open the series on Wednesday, June 3, and the Super 200K Prime, which will have CL$2,500,000 guaranteed and a fast format for those seeking intense action in a single day.

The complete OSOP Prime June schedule

Just like in previous stages of the OSOP, CodigoPoker will be present providing live coverage of the Main Event through its traditional Liveblog, bringing every all-in, elimination, and final table directly to Latin American poker fans.
The complete OSOP Ovalle circuit
The OSOP Elite with a buy-in of CLP$700K and reentry of CLP$400K, will have three quarterly dates — from April 14 to 19, from July 7 to 12, and from September 29 to October 4 — plus a Grand Final, with a value yet to be defined, from December 14 to 20.

The OSOP Prime, with CLP$1M, will be played from March 11 to 15, from June 3 to 7, from August 19 to 23, and will close from November 4 to 8.

Added to that are the One Day 150K and One Day 300K, tournaments designed to feed regularity and keep the ranking alive throughout the season.

The schedule of the first OSOP Ovalle
A luxury ranking with international touches
But the big draw is not just about playing again. It’s about what’s at stake. The annual OSOP 2026 ranking will reward the champion with a brand new JAECOO 5, while the second place will receive a buy-in for the WSOP Las Vegas 2027. The third place will get a OSOP Elite 2027 experience with four packages, including Main Event buy-in and five nights of accommodation, while the fourth will take home a full season of OSOP Prime 2027.
In other words: here you don’t just play for a payout, but for a whole year of prestige, projection, and a big prize. This information appears on page 4 of the official document.

The scoring system also aims to give sporting seriousness to the project. The score is calculated based on buy-in, number of players, and final position, with multipliers for higher-tier events.
Even those who don’t cash won’t leave empty-handed: the circuit ensures a third of the minimum participation score. It’s a smart way to reward consistency and prevent a bad day from wiping out those who support the circuit date after date.
Ovalle, the mecca of Chilean poker
And the chosen setting is no small matter. Ovalle, in the Coquimbo Region, not only offers a casino: it also provides context, identity, and scenery. The city is linked to the heritage of the Limarí valley and attractions such as the Limarí Museum, which safeguards important archaeological collections of the Diaguita culture, as well as the Valley of Enchantment, a national monument located about 20 kilometers from the city and famous for its pre-Hispanic petroglyphs and pictographs. Added to that is the proximity to Fray Jorge National Park, one of the natural jewels of the region.

As if that were not enough, the OSOP also announces open cash game tables every day of the event and sit and go tournaments that will start as soon as spots are filled, guaranteeing constant action outside the main tournaments.
