Since its creation in 2006, the Spanish Poker Championship has been characterized by creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for players. That is why year after year the turnout has grown until today’s tournaments with thousands of participants.

Outstanding tournament offerings
The CEP stands out for offering a wide variety of tournaments to its players, with all kinds of formats and buy-ins. Among the events that make up its schedule, the classic Opening, High Roller, Mini CEP, and Main Event stand out.
The Opening event kicks off the festival, with a buy-in of €330 and two days duration. The Mini CEP offers a cheaper and faster version of what will be the main event, for only €250.
The Main Event attracts the most players, having registered more than 2,000 entries in its most popular version. This tournament has a buy-in of €500 and lasts four days, ending with the crowning of the new Spanish poker champion.

Finally, the High Roller event offers an experience for high-stakes tournament players, with a buy-in of €1,000 and two days duration.

Online and live satellites
Another notable feature of the CEP is the number of opportunities it offers its players to qualify for its most prominent tournaments. In the weeks leading up to each date, players can find qualifying tournaments on PokerStars, the main sponsor of the circuit, starting from €5.
Throughout the festival, different satellites will also be played for the main events, such as the Opening, the Main Event, and the High Roller.
Rankings with notable prizes
Throughout the season, Main Event and Mini CEP players have the opportunity to accumulate points based on their performances in the tournaments. These points add up for the classification of the general ranking of the Spanish Poker Championship 2026.
The Spanish Poker Championship awards more than €50,000 in prizes to the best players in the annual ranking. The Main Event Ranking winner will receive 2 PokerStars Gold Passes + €5,000 + a commemorative watch valued at €2,000.
Additionally, the top 4 places in the Main Event ranking and the champion of the Mini CEP ranking will receive sponsorships to play for free in the next season.
