WSOP Europe continues to expand its reach and is now strongly targeting women’s poker. The organization announced that the festival, which will take place in Prague from March 31 to April 12, will include a bracelet-awarding Ladies Championship for the first time, a novelty that is already generating great anticipation.
The tournament will have a buy-in of €1,000 and will be played on Saturday, April 4, at the Hilton Prague, with a list of confirmed players that seems to be taken from a star-studded final table.
Among the notable names are UFC strawweight champion Mackenzie Dern
“As we enter a new era of WSOP Europe in Prague, it was essential that our schedule reflect the entire spectrum of the poker community,” explained Ty Stewart, CEO of the WSOP. “The Ladies Championship is always one of the most competitive and vibrant environments of the summer in Las Vegas, and we are thrilled to bring that same energy and prestige to the heart of Europe. We want it to be the definitive women’s event on the continent.”
A Different Bracelet for this WSOP Europe
The tournament will not only award glory and cash prizes: there will also be a special bracelet, exclusively designed for this women’s event. According to the organization, it will feature a custom setting with additional gems, differentiating it from the traditional WSOP Europe bracelets.

While there has been a women’s event at WSOP Europe before (in 2011, a Ladies Poker Championship was held and awarded a ring to Bárbara Martínez
Furthermore, all eyes will be on Shiina Okamoto, who will be seeking to achieve a historic third consecutive championship in WSOP Ladies events.
