From May 18 to 25, Uruguay will be the great meeting point for poker in South America with the arrival of a new stage of the World Series of Poker circuit: the WSOP Montevideo which will be played at the luxurious Casino Carrasco.
There will be a total of 12 champion rings at stake and each will also include a US$5,000 package to compete in the WSOP Bahamas
The presence of the most prestigious brand in world poker in the Uruguayan capital already represented, by itself, a milestone for the region. However, this additional incentive raises even more the expectation of a festival that seeks to attract players from all over Latin America with a clear goal: to compete for important titles and access a large-scale international opportunity.

A top-level schedule
The action will begin on Monday the 18th with the US$500 Mini Main Event, which will have four starting flights and will be decided on Wednesday the 20th. It is a tournament designed to gather many players, generate large tables, and start the series with great intensity. That same day, a US$2,000 One Day High Roller and a US$300 Turbo KO will also be played, marking a start full of energy.
Then, highlighted events will follow such as the US$3,000 2-Day High Roller, the US$600 Mystery Bounty, the US$800 Freezeout Deepstack, and formats with their own identity like the Win The Button Turbo KO. However, the greatest attention will be on the US$1,700 Main Event, which will start on Thursday the 21st and end on Sunday the 24th, aiming to crown one of the first ring champions in this historic edition.
The festival’s closing will not lose momentum either: tournaments like Single Day KO, Ring 500, Second Chance, the US$5,000 Super High Roller, PLO Dealer’s Choice, Closer, and Last Chance High Roller will complete an intense and action-packed schedule.
