ACR Poker launches an XXL edition of its classic Phil’s Thrill tournament

ACR Poker will be taking its classic weekly tournament to a new level with the Phil’s Thrill XXL, which will feature a guaranteed prize pool of US$1.5 million and will take place on Sunday, March 1. Players of all levels will have the chance to compete in this US$10,300 buy-in tournament thanks to the “Road to the Big One” satellites, which start at US$95.

The “Road to the Big One” begins with the Beast Satellites, where players can pay US$95 on Sundays, February 15 and 22 starting at 5:05 PM ET. Both satellites guarantee 50 tickets to the next stage, the Mega Satellite, which will take place on Sundays, February 22 and March 1 at 11:05 AM ET. Players will also have the option to enter the Mega Satellites directly for US$1,050. Each of these will award 20 guaranteed seats to the Phil’s Thrill XXL, which will begin on Sunday, March 1 at 2:30 PM ET.

The inaugural event on July 6 last year attracted 46 players, who formed a prize pool of US$460,000. It was played again on August 17, with 79 entries, forming a prize pool of US$790,000. Last Sunday, 62 entries were registered, forming a prize pool of US$620,000, with ACR Poker CEO Phil Nagy

finishing in 12th place. The player “FASTPLAYFAST” took the title and won a prize of US$173,600.
