Phil’s Thrill XXL is already underway at ACR Poker and the Big One is just around the corner. This is the largest edition in the history of this tournament, scheduled for this Sunday, March 1st. This main event will feature a US$10,300 buy-in and a US$1,500,000 guarantee. Best of all, players on the platform followed a satellite route to secure a seat for just US$95. Here we tell you how they did it…
Turn a US$95 ticket into a $10,300 seat
It sounds too good to be true, but it is. The route required just two simple steps.
- A) The first step was with the Beast Satellites with a US$95 buy-in. They were played on Sunday, February 15th and Sunday, February 22nd. Each of these tournaments awarded 50 tickets to the next level: the US$1,050 Mega Satellite.
- B) The second step was in those Mega Satellites, which gave winners a pass to the Beast. Although one of these instances took place on Sunday, February 22nd, there is still one to be activated on Sunday, March 1st. The same day as the Big One. Each Mega Satellite guarantees 20 seats for Phil’s Thrill XXL, meaning direct entries to the US$10,300 event.
In summary, this is the roadmap:
- US$95 Beast
- US$1,050 Mega
- Big One with US$1.5M guaranteed

Players can try to qualify at a low cost through this route or enter directly by paying the full buy-in. The tournament aims to gather a high-level field in a flagship event, with a prize pool matching its category.
For those who have already played previous editions, this is the largest version to date. For those who haven’t, the route to the Big One offers a concrete opportunity to sit on equal terms for a lower price.
