BSOP 2026: What's Next for the Brazilian Series of Poker?
What's next after BSOP 2026 Summer?

The BSOP Summer 2026 is already behind us, but at the same time, it was the necessary stepping stone to advance in this year’s Brazilian circuit. This stage ended a few hours ago, on January 31st, in Costa do Sauípe, Bahia, and it was the first event of the year that not only inaugurated the season but also kicked off the celebrations for the 20th anniversary of the Brazilian Poker Championship.

Now, with the Sauípe tables already closed, the BSOP 2026 calendar moves forward with several confirmed stages that maintain the pace for the coming months. Next stop: São Paulo.

The Footprints Left by the Summer Stage

First, let’s take stock of the BSOP Summer: the 2026 edition far surpassed last year’s numbers.

  • 6,099 entries and R$28.7 million in buy-ins, more than double that registered in 2025.
  • The Main Event was once again one of the main attractions, with 854 registrations and a buy-in of R$5,000.
  • The latter allowed for a prize pool of over three million, the largest in the history of a BSOP 2026 main tournament outside of São Paulo.
  • Furthermore, the event brought together players from 23 countries and confirmed that it is just as attractive as any other international event.

The Next Steps on the BSOP 2026 Path

With that starting point, the next stage already has a defined date and venue. The next commitment will be the BSOP São Paulo, which will be played from March 18th to 25th, 2026, at the WTC Sheraton, one of the most traditional venues in Brazilian poker. This stop will be key within the season, both for its location and for the historical weight it holds within the circuit.

Then will come the BSOP Rio Quente, scheduled from April 30th to May 5th, 2026, before the calendar returns to São Paulo for the BSOP Winter, which will take place from July 21st to 31st again at the WTC Sheraton. Later, the circuit contemplates a fifth stage in October, yet to be announced. And if it happens like in 2025, the year-end BSOP Millions will likely be in November.

Bsop 2026 Stages

The 2026 season promises to be one of the most important in BSOP history, and it’s already delivering. With a calendar that combines tourist destinations and emblematic venues, and following the resounding success of the Summer in Costa do Sauípe, the circuit now enters a phase where expectations are high. The BSOP 2026 is already in motion, and the path to the next tables is laid out, although key steps are yet to be revealed.
