The Argentine Poker Circuit once again delivered a great poker event in the country’s capital. The CAP Buenos Aires closed a new Main Event with high-impact numbers, a vibrant finish, and a champion who has already firmly inscribed his name in one of the most important events on the Argentine calendar: Facundo Díaz
The tournament gathered 1.080 entries, a figure that made it the third most attended Main Event in history at this stop, once again confirming the massive response from the albiceleste grinders when Buenos Aires opens its doors. After six starting flights and a frantic Day 2, the field was narrowed down to the 28 survivors who faced the final stretch with their dreams intact.
One of the key moments of the previous day was the elimination of Franco Danise, who became the tournament bubble by bowing out in 82nd place. In the decisive stage, Lucas Fluk started as the leader, but failed to maintain the momentum and was eliminated in 12° place, just one step away from the final table. Later, the departure of Gerónimo Zlatar finalized the lineup for the championship’s last chapter.

With the final table underway, the tension rose hand by hand. During more than seven hours of play, the protagonists gave their all in search of the trophy, until Díaz eventually imposed his conditions. In the final heads-up, he defeated Pablo Colombo and took the title along with a prize of US$71.695.

The podium was completed by Patricio Robuschi, who was unable to achieve a historic milestone: he was seeking his third Main Event and the chance to become the first player to win the CAP Buenos Aires twice, following his victories in Madero 2022 and Santa Rosa 2025.
Thus, the CAP Buenos Aires lowered the curtain on another spectacular edition, although there is still action ahead this Sunday with the conclusion of the High Roller.
