This Thursday, a new starting flight for the Duan Venom Mystery Bounty tournaments was played at ACR Poker. On one hand, the Venom MB NLH version is being played, with US$8M guaranteed, and on the other, the Venom MB PLO with US$2M guaranteed in its prize pool.
In these Day 1D flights, hundreds of new players registered for both tournaments, maintaining the positive trend seen in previous flights.
In the Venom Mystery Bounty, 361 new entries were registered, which, after an intense day of competition, were reduced to 44 qualifiers for Day 2. On the other hand, the Venom Mystery Bounty PLO had 106 new buy-ins, which translated into 13 new qualifiers for Day 2.
Those who were eliminated or have not yet been able to participate in the tournaments have one last chance to do so in Day 1E, the last one to be played before the start of Day 2. Additionally, those who have already qualified but wish to play a starting flight again to grow their stack further can also do so.

Here’s how the first Venom of 2026 continues
For a buy-in of US$2,650, players not only get the chance to compete for the large guaranteed prizes, but there are also huge bounties available for those who eliminate their rivals.
In the Venom MB NLH, taking out an opponent at the right stage can award a bounty of up to US$500,000. In the Venom MB PLO, there is a US$200,000 bounty waiting to be unlocked. But that’s not all. Any elimination in both tournaments represents a bounty of at least US$5,000.
Both Venom tournaments have five starting flights. Additionally, players have the option to play in multiple flights and then combine their stacks for Day 2, arriving with many more chips to eliminate opponents.
Players who manage to qualify for Day 2 will be automatically in the money. And those who reach the final table will have to battle on February 3rd for the Venom title and the grand prize, reserved for the champion.
