This 2026 is having one of the most complex starts to the year in terms of international politics in recent times. It began with the extraction of Nicolás Maduro

Jesse Lonis
“I’m not much for politics but if this doesn’t seem good for the world to you, then you are the problem. Hate Trump all you want, but letting these radicalized leaders potentially destroy the world and mock their people is not something we can let happen! God bless America and the rest of the world. Liberty and justice for all,” Lonis wrote on his X account.
As expected with such a sensitive topic, responses were quick to appear. Justin Bonomo
“Hey Jesse, unfortunately when the US bombs other countries, historically it has been VERY bad for them. Even in cases where people celebrated in the streets the fall of horrible dictators,” Bonomo wrote. To which Jesse replied: “Okay, so we shouldn’t do anything?”.

“There are so many things I think we should do, but honestly, I’m pretty sure it’s going to sound like far-left nonsense to you. Before having a conversation about that, it’s important to understand that things are bad in Iran specifically because of US intervention.
In 1953 we overthrew their beloved democratically elected leader to put in a puppet who would sell us cheap oil. That was the seed for the 1979 Iranian revolution that led to this oppressive regime. More recently, things got especially complicated because we intentionally blocked their economy, hoping that the suffering of 90 million people would leave them with no choice but to take to the streets, all to generate a consensus on the need for a war, not to help Iran or even the US, but Israel. Let me know if you doubt anything specific I say, I have no problem sharing sources,” wrote a militant Bonomo.
At this point, Lonis simply stopped replying.
Another player who expressed himself on the matter was Daniel Negreanu
“Happy and hopeful for the people of Iran who are celebrating the end of the reign of a barbaric man. Iranians are good people, crushed by 50 years of Islamic oppression. Tens of thousands died in the protests, hoping that help was on the way and that the world would hear them. Long live the people of Iran,” the Canadian wrote.
The conflict is in full development, as Israeli and American attacks have triggered a series of responses from Iran. The country has attacked several of its neighbors in the Arab League and has promised to go to war against Israel for as long as necessary. Without a doubt, this is one of the most important conflicts of the year, and it is uncertain how long it may extend.
