After a long wait, the 2026 Triton Poker Series season has finally begun. Although, to be more precise, what is currently being played is the new edition of Triton One, the mid-stakes festival organized by Triton, which is played just before the start of the first date of the Triton Series proper.
The series kicked off with the start of the $3K QQPKGenesis event, which has four initial flights, the first of which have already been played. On its Day 1A, the tournament had a total of 324 entries, of which only 51 players managed to qualify for Day 2.
The player who advanced as chip leader was Nishant Sharma

Day 1B of the tournament was also played, which recorded 188 more entries, from which another 30 qualifiers emerged. In this second flight, there were no players from the Latin Armada among the qualifiers. The chip leader was Chuang Zheng

The 51 qualifiers from Day 1A and the 30 from Day 1B will meet tomorrow to play Day 2, once flights 1C and 1D, which are currently being played, are completed. We hope that the Latin presence continues to grow in this first event of the series, which promises to deliver great prizes and inaugurate another great season of the Triton Poker Series.
