This Thursday, the 2026 season of the Codere Poker Series began, taking place at the Casino Carrasco facilities in Montevideo, and as usual, the series started with its traditional Start-Up event, which had a buy-in of US$300 and has already crowned the first champion of the year: Nicolás Zeballos
The tournament had a total of 86 entries that formed a prize pool of US$21.156, easily exceeding the US$15.000 guaranteed. Among those present was a large number of regulars from the South American circuit, who returned to enjoy a new edition of this classic competition.
