KSOP South America: 63 tournaments and a massive freeroll will mark the start of the festival

KSOP is firing up its engines again and doing so in style. After a successful first stage, the circuit officially announced the most anticipated stop of the year: the KSOP South America in Balneário Camboriú

Brasil
, which will be played between April 8 and 21 with a 14-day mega festival and a schedule of 63 tournaments.

Starts with a free tournament

The organization opted for a grid that mixes tradition, innovation, and millionaire prizes, consolidating the event as one of the great hubs of South American poker. And the start couldn’t be more symbolic: the festival will open with a historic rake-free freeroll, with R$300.000 guaranteed, an unprecedented proposal that seeks to attract thousands of players from day one.

The tournament will be played over two days and will offer a particular dynamic: players can enter for free until the sixth level with a reduced stack, or pay a buy-in of R$300 to start with full chips. Additionally, the prize will be hybrid: half in cash and the other half in credits to play other events of the festival, encouraging action throughout the series.

Main Event as the highlight

But the highlight will come with the Main Event, which will have a buy-in of R$5.000 and R$3.000.000 guaranteed. The tournament will feature multiple qualifying flights starting April 14 and will crown its champion on the final day of the event, promising massive fields and a high-voltage finish.

The schedule will also be packed with High Roller tournaments for the most demanding players. The most exclusive will be the Ultra High Roller of R$100.000, with 60-minute levels and three days of competition. Added to this are prominent events such as the High Roller Championship (R$15.000 with R$2.000.000 guaranteed), the Super High Roller PKO, the Welcome High Roller and several Deep Stack, PLO and One Day versions.

As is tradition in the circuit, the classic tournaments that build the KSOP identity will also be present. Among them are the Warm Up (R$1.250 with R$1.000.000 guaranteed), the Progressive KO, the Monster Mystery KO and the BC Experience, all with large prize pools and multiple qualifying flights.

With millions guaranteed, formats for all styles and a city accustomed to vibrating with poker, KSOP South America is shaping up to be one of the most powerful events of the first half of 2026.
