Triton One already has its first two-time champion, and his name is Ngo Khoa Anh

Ngo had already left his mark on the circuit’s inaugural stop, when he won a US$2.000 Eight Max event last year. But now he struck an even stronger blow: he was the last one standing in one of the most demanding tournaments on the calendar and became the first player to win two titles at Triton One. A milestone that puts him right into the history of the series. “I’m speechless, honestly. It’s beyond any expectation,” the champion declared after his victory, still shocked by the result.

Nacho Barbero added another ITM in this series; last Tuesday he finished in the money in the Mystery Bounty for US$11K.

The victory not only gave him prestige and one more trophy for the showcase. It also allowed him to add 1.200 points for the Player of the Year ranking, where he already accumulates 1.710 units thanks to an impressive start to the season. Before this title, Ngo had already recorded two fourth-place finishes at the APT Jeju Classic in February, adding more than US$220.000. Today, that consistency leaves him close to the top 10 of the year.
