La WSOP Europa regala entradas y enciende el debut del Ladies Championship

The World Series of Poker is moving chips away from the tables once again. In the lead-up to WSOP Europe 2026, the world’s most prestigious live tournament brand announced an initiative that deserves applause: several professional players and content creators are raffling off €1.000 tickets for the debut Ladies Championship, an action aimed directly at boosting female presence on the circuit.

The festival will take place from March 31 to April 12 in Prague

, at a new date and venue, and will award a total of 15 bracelets. Among its major highlights is the long-awaited €1.000 Ladies Championship, scheduled for April 4, which will mark the first time WSOP Europe includes an event exclusively for women in its schedule.

The proposal does not go unnoticed. In addition to offering a competitive stage under the WSOP brand, the tournament will debut a bracelet specially designed for women’s events, with a distinctive finish and additional stones that will differentiate it from traditional prizes. A symbolic detail, yes, but also a powerful one: the organization wants this tournament to have its own identity.

And the context supports it. Although female participation in live poker still hovers at just 5% and 6% of the total field, in recent years women have gained more and more prominence on the big stages. In 2025, Leo Margets finished seventh in the WSOP Main Event and achieved the highest historical cash for a woman in that tournament. Xuan Liu also broke barriers by becoming the first female Triton champion.
