Nick Schulman

United States
is, without a doubt, one of the most successful professional poker players in history. Throughout his career, he has amassed over US$26 million in tournament cashes, ranking 47th on the All Time Money List. As often happens with this type of player, there came a point in Nick’s career where he began to take an interest in other activities outside of poker, and this week he debuted as a radio host.

Nick appeared at the helm of the show Poker Weekly, which will air for six weeks on the radio network Sirius XM, from Mad Dog Sports Radiob. According to Nick himself, he received the invitation from Sirius, the project owner, prior to the World Series. “It will be a test and, if they like it, they will launch more poker-related content,” Schulman explained in a post on X.

“This is a great honor for me, I never thought I would do something like this. We will have great guests and I could use some questions and hands to analyze from you all. A large part of the show will be about analyzing hands that people send us, or maybe we can even make some calls,” Schulman elaborated in his post.

Finally, this week the first episode aired, in which Nick talked about his origins as a player.

“It all started in a pool hall when I was 11,” Schulman said. “That was my first exposure to the game. It felt amazing. I can’t put into words how much I loved every part of playing poker back then,” he continued.
