The Codere Poker Series held at the luxurious Casino Carrasco in Montevideo, Uruguay, lowered the curtain on its side tournaments with Event #6 Last Chance, an event that, as its name promised, was the last great opportunity to cash in on the series. And it certainly had action: the tournament recorded 58 entries of US$300, a figure that raised the total prize pool to US$14.265.
With an attractive structure and the charm typical of closing tournaments —where many arrive with their final bullet and others eager to save the week— the Last Chance gathered a competitive field that ended up delivering a definition with a regional accent and several names to highlight.
The great champion was Pablo Gómez who took the event title and the highest prize of the day. The winner received US$4.500,00. In second place finished Ernesto Liber Mirabal, with a cash of US$3.150,00, while the podium was completed by Hugo Nazar, who took US$2.350,00 for his third-place finish.
