Unexpectedly for many and announced for those who follow the e-sports industry, Papo made a heartfelt statement through his Instagram stories, following an incident that put his team in the spotlight of controversy.
In his stories, Papo wrote:
“Tough days here. We live in a very hypocritical society where everyone points a finger and ignores the 3 fingers pointing at them when they do. I resigned a contract because they expected me to apologize for something I didn’t do, under the guise of bureaucracy. I’ve been very destabilized for two months regarding training and personal care = + stress + anxiety. I was canceled for something I didn’t do and they hold me responsible for decisions I don’t make, but we’re fine. I won’t forget the face of any of those who wanted to take advantage of the situation. A lot of movement. A lot of people depend on me. Time to shine. Specialist in rising from the ashes. Hold my glass and enjoy the show.

Some believe that Papo is referring to the incident involving streamer Santutu, who was CEO of the Bestia team for a time and a few days ago received harsh criticism for a strong message issued in one of his streams. Obviously, Papo was not unscathed by the repercussions as he is an important part of the team, even though the person responsible was removed from his position almost immediately.
Between this and other personal matters that are unknown, apparently the winner of the WSOP Triton 2024 would have been going through a difficult time. However, as his story indicates, he is a specialist in getting back up when things get complicated, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see him back on top, as he has been so many other times.
