Cates opened with 9 5 and Deeb made a 3-bet with A -kc. Tilly found Q Q and raised to US$5,100. Deeb responded with a 5-bet to US$15,000 and Tilly went all-in.

There was US$73,475 in the middle and Deeb needed to hit an ace or a king to turn the situation around. However, the board did not help him and the queens prevailed again.

“Wow, he did it again! Incredible,” reacted Hellmuth. Tilly, happy with the result, responded ironically: “I’m just lucky”.

The US$81,525 pot that Deeb finally won

However, Deeb would get revenge in an even bigger hand.

The action started with a raise from Cates and a 3-bet from Xuan Liu. Deeb found K K and raised to US$2,500, but Tilly, again with Q Q, made a 5-bet to US$6,000. Deeb took his time and responded with an impressive 6-bet to US$17,500.

Tilly suspected she was in trouble but decided to go all-in. Deeb instantly called the remaining US$22,625 and there was US$81,525 at stake.

“I had a feeling you had me,” admitted Tilly.

This time there was no miracle for the queens. The board was 8 5 J A 10 and Deeb’s kings held to give him the biggest pot of his night.

Tilly ended the session as the big winner, with US$39,825 in profits, while Deeb managed to recover to close up US$11,300. Hellmuth, meanwhile, suffered another tough night and ended up losing US$8,100.
