Among the Argentinians, the best placed was Tomás Sarti, who reached fourth place and earned US$7,200. Also making the final table were Fernando Erize, Pablo Gastón, and Juan Repetto.
With this tournament, the Montevideo stage of the WSOP Circuit officially concluded, a stop that distributed its last dollars in an action-packed finale.
