Jungleman has been arbitrating debt disputes through his X account for some time. This time, he presented the case of Gordon vs Heimiller. The former claims a debt from the latter, which has persisted since they won a contest together in 2009.

We know Heimiller won his third WSOP bracelet in 2025, while Gordon had been absent from the scene for several years until this case resurfaced. Jungleman posted on X describing the situation and sharing screenshots of chats between the parties involved.

“Apparently, Dan Heimiller decided, after 15 years full of excuses, not to pay Phil Gordon the 15K he owes him with the dubious excuse that Phil was a Full Tilt Poker owner. Full Tilt ‘paid’ everyone…,” Jungleman wrote in his post.

Apparently @danheimiller has, after 15 years and loads of excuses decided not to pay @PhilNoLimits back for 15k to help him with a flimsy excuse that he was a Full Tilt owner.

In the screenshots shared by Jungleman, the players can be seen discussing the debt. It all starts with an understanding tone, with Gordon writing: “Hi Dan. How are you? I’ll get straight to the point: I was going through some old papers and found our Wynn agreement.”

“I bet too much. I had to borrow money for the last 18 months. I still owe money despite having paid 70K,” Dan replied initially, to which Gordon seemed to show empathy and asked him to let him know when he could pay him back.

Months passed and the situation was not resolved. At one point, Dan wrote to Gordon an explanation of why he wasn’t paying.

“I had almost the same amount of money (US$15K) in my Full-Tilt account, with which I could have paid you. Furthermore, Full-Tilt stole US$500 from me from a tournament where I was ‘blinded-off’ for 25 minutes due to Full-Tilt malfunctioning while I was playing 6 handed. So, since you were making money with a company that caused me to lose all the money in my account, I’m not going to pay you. I asked four players and two told me I was right,” Heimiller wrote.

Finally, Phil Gordon ended up hiring a lawyer to litigate the debt. Jungleman acted as arbitrator to bring the matter back into the media spotlight, in an attempt by Gordon to use social pressure to make Heimiller, who seems unyielding, give in.
