There are final tables that extend until the sun comes up and others that end when someone looks at the clock and thinks that it’s been enough poker for one day. The latter happened at the Super Seniors of the Potomac Summer Poker Open 2026, where the nine survivors decided to reach a deal and split the pot.

When the final table was set, however, no one was very eager to find out who would be the last man standing. The nine players negotiated a deal based on ICM and ended the tournament around 9:00 PM.

Interestingly, some players had already anticipated exactly that outcome. When the news of the deal reached the tables of the Opener event, Justin Arnwine
“It’s 9 PM, time to go to sleep!” he said laughing.
Although nine players splitting a final table seems like a lot, it doesn’t even constitute a recent record. In July, a Monster Stack at the Grosvenor Goliath ended with a deal among 11 players, while a Ladies Event at Wynn Las Vegas recorded an incredible deal among 15 finalists in 2024.
