If one thing is becoming clear about BSOP Rio Quente, it is that its schedule was not put together with just one type of player in mind. We have already reviewed the power of the Omaha tournaments and the brilliance of the High Rollers, but now it is time to look at another area of the festival that also promises full tables, adrenaline, and very much alive dreams: the low stakes grid.
Among the 26 tournaments scheduled between April 30 and May 5, no fewer than nine events were specially designed for those who usually play in buy-ins between R$ 500 and R$ 1.500. An ideal ground to compete hard without having to sell a kidney during the dinner break.
The great emblem of this segment will be the Start-Up, one of the Gold Tournaments on the calendar and the event in charge of opening the series. With entries of R$ 1.200 and two starting flights on April 30, it is shaping up to be one of those tournaments capable of gathering hundreds of players and delivering a very tasty reward to the champion. The low stakes proposal does not stop at traditional No-Limit Hold’em.
