The WSOP Europe 2026 lowered the curtain at the King’s Casino at the Hilton Prague

The Dane overcame a very tough field of 359 entries and conquered the final bracelet of the series, in addition to the GGMillion$ trophy and a prize of €600.000. It was no ordinary victory. In the heads-up, he defeated none other than Punnat Punsri
Pedersen, a professional since early 2020, had left multi-table tournaments behind to focus on online cash games. However, he continued traveling to certain live stops looking for that result that would change his history. And he certainly found it in Prague: this was only his second WSOP cash and, furthermore, his first major live title.

The Ace Punnat Punsri Fell Into Second Place.
The final day started with 17 survivors and was marked by high-voltage clashes. Mustapha Kanit

His turning point came after eliminating Mike Watson
Punsri managed to even things up for a moment, but he couldn’t change the script. In the decisive all-in, Pedersen found a lifeline again with a pair of threes that held up this time. Thus, he closed the WSOP Europe 2026 with the best possible photo: bracelet in hand, a smile of relief, and the feeling of having stopped being a prospect to suddenly become a reality.
