There are stories that seem written especially for poker. N3on’s definitely falls into that category: he sat down to play his first poker tournament, openly admitted he practically didn’t know the rules, and a few hours later, he was lifting the trophy.
The popular American content creator was the big surprise of the Celebrity Poker Tour Invitational XIII, held at the PokerGO Studio at the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Facing a field of more than 50 celebrities, N3on ended up taking the title and a prize of US$15,000.
“I don’t know shit,” he had confessed to our colleagues at PokerNews before starting. His plan was much less sophisticated than any GTO strategy: have fun, seize the opportunity, and if possible, win some money.
