
Little by little, the level of guests on Hellmuth’s Home Game is rising. On this occasion, some true heavyweights took their seats at the table organized by the 17-time WSOP champion. Among them were the professionals Dan “Jungleman” Cates 

After facing off in numerous pots during the session, Mike opened a hand for $500 (at a $25/$50 table) with A Q from the SB. Cates made a 3-bet for $2,300 from the straddle with J J. Mike raised to $6,000 and Cates called.
The flop showed 2 4 10 and Mike continued betting, this time for $3,100, getting a quick call from his opponent. The turn brought the K and Mike decided to bet again, this time for $13,500, which made Cates call once more.

After the 8 on the river, Texas Mike went all-in, covering the $58,775 that Jungleman had left. Dan Cates tanked for several minutes until he finally decided to call. This way, Jungleman took the $162,850 pot, the biggest of the night.
