
Colombian poker is once again in the international poker headlines. This time, it was thanks to the huge victory achieved by Sebastián Toro 
The event featured multiple starting flights that together gathered a total of 4,783 entries, equivalent to a $1,578,390 prize pool, which was distributed among the top 599 places in the tournament. After passing through his first day, Toro reached Day 2 ready to battle and ended that second day as the chip leader.
On Day 3, only 20 players remained and Sebastián continued increasing his lead. The Colombian’s dominance was such that he started the final table as chip leader, holding a stack more than twice the average. Throughout the final table, Sebastián remained firm and dominant, never letting his stack fall below 100 big blinds at any point.

The Colombian’s performance was so overwhelming that, in just two hours of play, the final table was reduced from 9 to 2 players. However, the heads-up against Alejandro Exposito
Finally, after more than five hours of play, Expósito went all-in for his last 20 big blinds with A 10 against Toro’s A Q. The board showed 9 4 4 9 Q and, in this way, Sebastián Toro was crowned champion of Event #1 Deep Stack NLH at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown, earning a prize of $201,030.
