The Los Jefes team, made up of Diego Ponce

The Palace Series of Poker (PSOP) had its first edition in the city of Monterrey with a schedule that ran from February 20 and extended until March 1, featuring seven tournaments that together guaranteed the significant sum of MXN$7.000.000. Its two central attractions, the Main Event offered MN$4.000.000, while the High Roller put another MXN$1.000.000 on the felt.
Additionally, on this special occasion, the parallel competition called Dream Team was also presented for the first time, which was held in teams of four members, whose goal was to accumulate as many points as possible and lead the leaderboard at the end of the competition.
Los Jefes were led by Diego Ponce, who contributed heavily to the final result
The Dream Team competition had 48 registered players participating; integrated into teams of four, they covered a fee of MXN$10.000, with an Early Bird at MXN$8.000 for early registration, and all the accumulated money was deposited in full for the prize pool, including some additional surprises from the organization.
All events in the series awarded points to those players who managed to reach the money, and the number of points assigned varied based on the position reached, number of entries registered, and the amount of the cash, among others. A total of 12 teams participated in this exciting parallel competition alongside the normal schedule.
The Los Jefes team managed to accumulate a total of 860 points to win the title, and without a doubt, Diego Ponce was the most outstanding member, earning 585 points on his own thanks to the following results, which together totaled MXN$350.500:
