This Will Be The 2026 WSOP In Las Vegas
This is what the WSOP 2026 will be like: everything you need to know about the World Series in Las Vegas

Every year, Las Vegas dresses up to host the most important poker event in the world: the World Series Of Poker. Thousands and thousands of players travel from all over the world to participate in this mega festival that crowns the world champions who will go down in the history books of this game. After the success of 2025, this year the World Series returns to celebrate its 57th edition. Welcome to the WSOP 2026.

Where and when the WSOP 2026 will be played

The WSOP 2026 will have exactly the same duration as the WSOP 2025. The only difference will be that it will move one day on the calendar. Although the schedule has not yet been confirmed, the World Series will begin on May 26 and run until July 15, unlike 2025, which began and ended one day earlier. Although changes are expected, as they happen every year, the WSOP structure has reached a point of maturity where the modifications made are minimal, so no major surprises are expected.

The chosen venue will be the same one that has been used for four consecutive years. The ballrooms of the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino and the Horseshoe Las Vegas will open their doors to welcome a new contingent of players who will risk their dreams on the historic felt that adorns these historic rooms.

On the one hand, the Horseshoe Las Vegas offers an experience that combines decades of tradition with a new modern aesthetic. On the other hand, the Paris Las Vegas offers the elegance of the European experience within the United States. Both establishments are operated by Caesars Entertainment.

Speaking of Europe

Since we mentioned the European elegance of Paris Las Vegas, we cannot overlook the start of WSOP Europe 2026, scheduled to be played from March 31 to April 12. The festival will take place at the King’s Casino & Resort in the city of Prague

Czech Republic
and will award 15 bracelets.

The main event to highlight at this festival will be its Main Event with €10,000,000 guaranteed. It will have a buy-in of €5,300. Attention will also be focused on the Mystery Bounty Opener event, which will award prizes worth thousands of euros to those who manage to eliminate rivals from Day 2 onwards.

Latin America seeks to continue growing

In this 21st century, South American poker has experienced unprecedented growth. Before the year 2000, the only Latin American who had won a WSOP bracelet was Humberto Brenes

Costa Rica
. With the boom of online poker, thousands of professionals emerged around the world, who began to study the game until they could compete with the top exponents of world poker. Finally, this translated into prizes, titles, and, effectively, bracelets.

To date, Latin America has 42 bracelets, almost all won in the 21st century. The most important of them is that of Damián Salas

Argentina
, the only Argentine in history to win the Main Event of the World Series of Poker, back in 2020. Argentina is the second Latin American country with the most bracelets, with 9, just behind Brazil, which has accumulated 17 of them.

Argentina
in Event #42: US$1,000 PLO.
