Wynn Resorts is determined to take poker to a completely new frontier. The US operator is moving forward with its impressive US$5.100 million project in Ras al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, where everything indicates that the future Wynn Al Marjan Island will have its own poker room, news that has already begun to shake the world of cards.

The project is not just another one. Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort with gaming in the United Arab Emirates and its official debut continues to target the first quarter of 2027. The complex will have 1.542 rooms, 24 restaurants and lounges, entertainment areas, a marina, a private beach, and a 70-story tower that will reach about 352 meters in height, placing it among the most impressive on the planet.

Wynn Al Marjan Island Is Under Full Construction.
Of course, it hasn’t all been a walk without bad beats. In March, Reuters reported that construction suffered a brief pause due to regional instability, although Wynn later resumed work and reaffirmed that it is maintaining the schedule. Company executives even acknowledged that some design and development staff were temporarily relocated due to recommendations from their embassies, while work continued with a focus on team safety.
If completed, the UAE room will be Wynn’s third poker room in the world, after Las Vegas and Encore Boston Harbor. And although the one in Macau has already closed its doors, everything points to them preparing something even bigger at Al Marjan.
