
The Irish Open 2026 has already established itself, without question, as one of the most impactful editions in its long history. The €1.150 Main Event gathered a massive field of 5.003 entries and raised the prize pool to €4.852.910, nearly double its initial €2.500.000 guarantee. At the Royal Dublin Society, there was a big party, great poker, and, of course, a Latin presence in the money.
Although the general focus was on the record and the diversity of a tournament that attracted players from 60 countries, for this side of the map there was another fact to celebrate: four Latin representatives managed to get into the money in one of the toughest and most crowded fields on the European calendar.
