This, at least publicly, marked Drake’s return to Super Bowl betting after taking a break last year. In 2024, the Canadian bet $1.15 million on the Kansas City Chiefs, who ended up winning the game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Drake admitted to losing $8 million betting in a single month during June 2025. In 2024, he lost a US$300,000 bet that the Canadian national soccer team would win the Copa América at odds of +2,500. If the team had won the championship, he would have cashed out US$2.9 million. Argentina denied him.
In 2022, he bet a million dollars that Argentina would win the World Cup, but lost when the game went into overtime and was not decided in 90 minutes. Kylian Mbappe frustrated him with his two goals, because the Albicelestes ended up being champions in the penalty shootout…
Some of his other bets have gone better. He won US$559,000 betting on the Los Angeles Rams for the 2022 Super Bowl. He also hit a US$159,000 bet that the Golden State Warriors would finish atop the Western Conference of the NBA with a profit of US$650,000.
